Calling all fermentation enthusiasts! It's been a long time coming, and we're finally launching THE FERMENTORY, Craft & Culture's workshop arm! We're beyond thrilled to be organizing fun-filled, healthy, hands-on fermentation workshops to spread our love for the good bacteria.

Eating fermented foods are useful for anyone who wants to eat better, live better or if you or your family members are plagued with health issues such as eczema, food allergies, IBS, gastrointestinal problems. Looking forward to better gut health with everyone!

Fermentory by Craft & Culture was created to share our knowledge on fermentation in a fun an interactive setting. 

How are We different from other workshops and home-based establishments?

    With over 20 years and hundreds of fermentation experiments under our pocket, you'll be in good hands! We were successful, we were unsuccessful... tap on our know-how and expertise and minimize the mistakes amateur fermenters make.

    We are professional brewers and fermenters who provide our products commercially to consumers and have been doing so for several years now.
  • Dedicated Workshop Space
    We have our own space and can come to yours (for large groups over 20)
    Our workshop space comes with kitchen equipment and tools. Instead of just listening, you get to take on a hands-on approach with our workshops even when we are on the go!

    A non-exhaustive list of stuff we've fermented: Kombucha, Milk Kefir, Water Kefir, Kvass, Mead, Ginger Beer, sour dough bread, garums (fish sauce, chicken sauce etc), Enzymes, Vinegars, Miso, Tempeh, Shoyu, Chilli Sauce, Mustard, Ketchup, Salsas, Amazake, Cheese, Vegan Cheeses, Pickles, Sauerkraut, Kimchi, Tsukemono, Curtido, Natto, tepache, rejuvelac, beers, wines and the list goes on!

    means we debunk and demystify health fads, myths and inaccuracies that are present as fake news. Inasmuch as we would hope for it to be true, we don't have evidence to support that kombucha and kefirs can cure or prevent cancer...but it does help with other issues in our body!
  • Beginner and Advances Master Classes available!
    Workshops are progressive, and you can join in from a 1-2 hour beginner class or spend 3-6 hours doing our masterclass! 
  • Versatile Group Sizes and Customized Lessons OK
    Previously our workshops were privately organized for large scale corporate team bonding and seminars, so we figured, why not extend that in a small group setting? Typically we need about 12 people signed up to start a class at our shop :) If you have more than 20 people and want classes to be customized ie. Vegan, Gluten-Free, Themes, Private Events, we've got it covered.

    Besides THE FERMENTORY's facebook page, we also have a private, students-only facebook group so we can support one another in our fermentation journey.
